Job Purpose:
To support the daily operations of the HR department in ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance with Kuwait labor law, and maintaining a healthy work culture in line with the service excellence standards of the spa industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate recruitment processes: job postings, CV screening, interviews, and selection.
Manage overseas and local hiring in coordination with recruitment agencies.
Prepare job offers and contracts in compliance with Kuwait labor law.
Organize onboarding and orientation sessions for new staff, including therapists and customer service staff.
Employee Records & Administration
Maintain accurate and updated employee records, including passports, visas, and civil IDs.
Monitor visa renewals, residency permits, and work authorization processes.
Manage attendance, leaves, and prepare data for payroll coordination.
Ensure timely issuance of warnings, evaluations, and confirmations as per policy.
Labor Law Compliance
Ensure company HR practices align with Kuwait’s labor laws and ministerial decisions.
Prepare documentation for MOL inspections and resolve issues in cooperation with PRO/legal advisors.
Support disciplinary procedures, investigations, and terminations as per legal framework.
Staff Welfare & Engagement
Assist in resolving staff grievances with fairness and empathy.
Monitor staff housing conditions, meals, and transport arrangements (if applicable).
Promote positive workplace culture aligned with spa service excellence.
Coordinate health and safety awareness, including hygiene protocols.
HR Reporting & Audits
Maintain HR KPIs (turnover, leave, recruitment time).
Prepare HR reports for management review.
Assist in internal audits and compliance checks.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, spa, or wellness industry.
Knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law and visa procedures.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
Proficiency in MS Office and basic HR software.
Working Conditions:
6-day work week, spa operation hours.
Must be flexible with shifts, particularly in a service-oriented environment.
Occasionally required to visit labor offices, clinics, or employee accommodations.
